Sergey Ivliev

Sergey Ivliev is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in academia and industry. As the Founder, Head of Product & Markets, and Board Director at Vlinder since April 2020, Sergey is focused on mangrove restoration projects aimed at rehabilitating 1 million hectares of degraded ecosystems. Concurrently, Sergey holds positions as an Invited Professor at HEC Lausanne and the New Economic School, teaching courses on Blockchain and FinTech, respectively. Sergey also served as an Invited Professor at Arcada University of Applied Sciences and was the Head of Cryptoeconomics & Blockchain Systems Lab at Perm State University, where Sergey held an Associate Professor position as well. Prior industry roles include co-founding Lykke Corp and serving as Deputy CEO at PROGNOZ, where Sergey contributed to financial solutions and risk management advancements. Sergey is actively involved in PRMIA as a member of the Steering Committee in Russia and holds a Ph.D. from Perm State University, with ongoing education at Yale School of the Environment focused on Tropical Forest Landscapes.
