Director Of Facilities at New England Air Museum

Tim Garland is a facilities management professional with nearly two decades of experience. Tim started their career in 1998 as an Electrician at D.R. Electric. In 2001, they moved to Consolidated Electrical Distributors as an Inside/Outside Sales Representative. In 2002, they joined Keene State College as an Electrician and was later promoted to Electrical Shop Supervisor in 2013. In 2018, they joined the University of Hartford as an Assistant Director, Academic and Auxiliary Facilities Operations and Service Response Coordinator. In 2021, they moved to SMG Corporate Services as a Site Manager at Bradley International Airport. Currently, they are unemployed but is looking for their next opportunity and has recently been appointed as the Director of Facilities at the New England Air Museum starting in 2022. Tim is a graduate of the APPA Institute for Facilities Management, has held the APPA CEFP credential, and was a 2017 recipient of the ERAPPA Rising Star Award.

Tim Garland has an extensive education history. Tim attended the APPA Institute for Facilities Management from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Facilities Planning and Management, as well as certifications in Educational Facilities Professional (EFP) and Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP). Tim also attended Keene State College from 1987 onwards, where they studied Music Education. Additionally, they obtained a CEFP certification from APPA - Leadership in Educational Facilities in February 2017 and a Level 1 Interior Fire Alarm certification from IMSA-International Municipal Signal Association in March 2007.
