Trillium Hibbeln

Trillium Hibbeln currently serves as the Director of the Commission on International Education at the New England Association of Schools and Colleges since December 2023, having previously held the position of Associate Director from September 2016 to December 2023. Trillium co-founded and directed The Power of Education Foundation from November 2009 to August 2019 and held roles in program development and grants management at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital and Spectrum Health Foundation, respectively, from 2002 to 2011. Earlier experience includes teaching positions at the American School of Asuncion and Ruamrudee International School, as well as serving as a VISTA Supervisor with World Relief from 1994 to 1996. Trillium holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey and dual Bachelor's Degrees in International Relations from Michigan State University and James Madison College, along with a certificate in Federal Grants Management from Management Concepts.
