Val Giordano

As chief of staff, Val Giordano, RN serves as strategic advisor and counsel to the President. Additionally, she is vice president, real estate, and is responsible for all real estate transactions, leasing, and the master planning process.

Val joined NEBH as a consultant to assist with Joint Commission survey preparation and site survey coordination, and shortly after was promoted to director of capital projects for patient care services. She has held additional roles, including assistant vice president for support services, radiology, facilities and construction.

Prior to joining NEBH, Val held several positions including Vice President, Nursing and Perioperative Services at Premier, Inc./Yankee Alliance, Nurse Management Consultant for Concepts in Healthcare and Director of Business Operations for Surgical Services and Hospital Wide Materials Management at New England Deaconess Hospital. She has also served in several clinical staff positions.

Val holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State University and an Advanced Studies Certificate in Healthcare Facilities Management from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
