Gavin Henning

Gavin Henning currently serves as the Director of the Center for Innovation in Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship and as a Professor and Program Director for several Higher Education programs at New England College since June 2012. With a distinguished background in higher education, Gavin has held multiple roles, including Associate Professor of Higher Education at New England College and various positions at Dartmouth College, where responsibilities included providing institutional research support and leading student affairs initiatives. Beginning the career as a Research Associate at the University of New Hampshire, Gavin developed a strong focus on assessment and leadership in education. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Education Policy and Leadership and an M.A. in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire, in addition to degrees in College and University Administration and Psychology and Sociology from Michigan State University.
