Cathy Messier currently serves as the Controller and Vice President at New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) since October 2022. Prior to this role, Cathy held various positions at People's United Bank, N.A., including Vice President of Strategic Planning and Director of Divisional Planning from April 2016 to October 2022, and served as Divisional Finance Officer, Bank Finance Officer for the Vermont Division, and Director of Regional Finance from January 2008 to April 2015. Earlier in the career, Cathy was the Controller at Merchants Bank for one year and held the position of Corporate Controller at Chittenden Bank from February 2001 to December 2007.
