New England Revolution
Kevin Friel is an experienced soccer coach and coordinator with a comprehensive background at the New England Revolution. Since January 2021, Friel has served as the Head Soccer Coach for the 2011 Strikers United boys' team, focusing on training and development strategies. In addition, Friel coordinates the Revolution Academy and Elite Player Pathway programs, aiming to cultivate talent for the Academy teams. Previously, Friel held roles including Residency Coordinator, overseeing player welfare at the Residency House near Gillette Stadium, and Equipment Specialist, where involvement in tournament preparations was key. Friel's tenure at the New England Revolution began in 2010 as a Technical Coordinator. Educational qualifications include a Leaving Certificate in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Milford Vocational School and a Junior Certificate from Loretto College Milford.
