Jerry Smith is an accomplished soccer coach and educator with extensive experience in sports leadership and training. As the Founder and Executive Director of Coaching for Life Academy at Santa Clara University since April 2014, Jerry has been instrumental in shaping the future of coaching. Jerry also serves as the Head Coach for the Women's Soccer team at Santa Clara University, a position held since 1987. Additionally, Jerry contributes as a Staff Coach for United Soccer Coaches and is a member of the National Advisory Board for the Positive Coaching Alliance. Previously, Jerry was the Head Coach for the USYS Olympic Development Program from 1995 until November 2013.
