Hsiao-Yun investigates the critical protein regulation tumorigenicity and how alterations in gene expression contribute to human disease. She received a doctoral degree in Clinical Medicine from the National Yang-Ming University in Taiwan. Her research is focused on using cellular biology and biochemistry to comprehend the downstream mechanisms of the protein-RNA complex. As a postdoctoral researcher at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI)/Harvard medical school, Hsiao-Yun works on structural biology and biochemistry to understand protein-nanobody interaction. Her academic training and research experience have provided her with an excellent background in multiple biological disciplines including cellular biology, structural biology, and biochemistry. In her spare time, she enjoys doing aerial yoga and traveling.
