Keith E. Jones has a diverse work experience starting from their time in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Corporal in the Military Police, participating in operations such as the evacuation of the US Embassy and Liberian Nationals during the civil war and the liberation of Kuwait. Following their military service, they worked as a Patrol Officer and Corporal at the Big Spring Police Department, conducting various law enforcement activities and training new officers. Keith E. then joined Texaco and later ChevronTexaco as Counsel, specializing in Employment and Labor Law and providing legal advice and representation in employment and labor matters. At Chevron, they further advanced their career as a Senior Counsel in the Major Capital Projects Legal Practice Group, responsible for developing legal documents, negotiating contracts, and providing risk mitigation and evaluation for project teams. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Vice President - Construction and Operations Counsel at New Fortress Energy.

Keith E. Jones holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree in Law from the University of Houston Law Center, which they obtained from 1997 to 2000.
