Shawn Hoffart has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Shawn started their career at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as a Product Development Co-op in 1989. In 1991, they joined Black & Veatch as a Process Engineer and later became the LNG Section Lead. From 2011 to 2020, they held the position of Vice President, LNG Technology at Black & Veatch. In 2020, they transitioned to New Fortress Energy where they initially served as the Director of the Solutions Group and is currently the Vice President of Engineering, LNG.
Shawn Hoffart received their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the years 1986-1991. Subsequently, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from The University of Kansas from 1991-1995. In 1997, Shawn obtained the certification of Licensed Professional Chemical Engineer from the State of Nebraska.
