Christopher Baker

Christopher Baker is a highly experienced geologist with a strong background in various roles within the mining and geological sectors. Currently serving as a Modelling Geologist, Project Geologist, and Geologist at New Found Gold Corp. since October 2020, Christopher has previously held positions including Senior Mud Logger at Excellence Logging and GSS Mud Logging Analyst at Schlumberger. Additional experience includes consulting as an Exploration Geotechnician at North American Nickel, working as a Core Logging Geologist at Canada Fluorspar Inc., and serving as a Land Surveying Tech. at Geosurveys NL. Christopher began the career as a Student Geologist at New Millennium Iron Corp. and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Sciences from Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador, earned between 2010 and 2015.
