Connor Buchanan

Connor Buchanan is a Core Logging Geologist, G.I.T. at New Found Gold Corp. since February 2022, responsible for logging diamond drill core and preparing related reports. Previously, Connor gained experience as a Student Geological Assistant with the Ontario Geological Survey and as a Resource Management Student with Parks Canada, where involvement included environmental assessments and baseline natural resource surveys. Earlier roles include a Summer Student at the Municipality of Trent Lakes, focusing on bylaw enforcement and public assistance, and a Lock Operating Assistant with Parks Canada at the Rideau Canal, providing support to boaters and maintaining property upkeep. Connor holds a Bachelor of Science - BSc Honours degree in Geology from the University of Ottawa, completed in 2021.
