Avery Hammer has a diverse background in customer service and case management, currently serving as Case Program Manager at New Friends New Life since November 2021, where previous roles included Case Manager and Receptionist/Intake Coordinator. Prior experience at Goodman Manufacturing involved managing logistics and customer relations, effectively handling high-value orders. As a Cashier Customer Service representative at Specs Liquor, valuable skills in customer engagement and safety were developed. During tenure as a Math and Statistics Tutor at Stephen F. Austin State University, Avery advanced to Team Lead, promoting training and outreach initiatives. Earlier roles at Barnes & Noble, Inc. and an internship with the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council of Deep East Texas provided foundational customer service and counseling experience. New Friends New Life restores and empowers formerly trafficked teen girls and sexually exploited women and children. Some are part of the more than 100,000 American women and children trafficked each year. New Friends New Life uses a holistic approach to assist women with overcoming backgrounds of abuse, addiction, poverty, and limited opportunities by providing access to education, job training, interim financial assistance and spiritual support. Each year, New Friends New Life serves approximately 1,000 women and children through its comprehensive programs.
