Alfredo Segura Jr. serves as the CEO of New Frontiers Public Schools, a non-profit organization that supports nearly 700 students in pre-K to 9th grade within an economically disadvantaged community, overseeing a budget of $6.2 million since 2005. Prior to this role, Alfredo held positions at Charter Schools USA from 2001 to 2005, including Director of Compliance and Operations for Texas, where responsibilities included ensuring adherence to educational, financial, and legal regulations across seven charter schools, as well as managing contracts and providing board training. Earlier, Alfredo was the Facility and Operations Regional Manager for Texas, focusing on the performance and compliance of operational contracts. Educational background includes studies at East Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management and Economics from Our Lady of the Lake University.

New Frontiers Public Schools are open enrollment, public charter schools. Students in our schools thrive in our accelerated foundational learning environments and excel in our innovative college preparation. We currently operate the Frank L. Madla Early College High School where our students are embedded in college courses with other college students. Coming Fall of 2022 we will open the Imelda Davis Early College High School.
