Caroline Perron

Caroline Perron is an experienced mining professional with a background in operations and mine planning. Currently serving as Operations Excellence Manager at New Gold Inc. from January 2023 to March 2024, Caroline leads projects as the Rainy River mine transitions to integrated underground operations. Previous roles include Underground Mine Manager and Underground General Superintendent, managing a 1,000tpd modified AVOCA underground operation while developing a technical services function. At Kinross Gold Corporation, Caroline held positions as Senior Manager - Mine Planning and Technical Services Manager, leading strategic mine planning for the Great Bear project. Education includes a BSc in Mining Engineering from Queen's University and a High Performance Leadership Certificate from the University of Oxford.
