Mathieu Boudreau

Mathieu Boudreau is a geologist with significant experience in the field of geology and geosciences. Currently serving as a Geologist in Training at New Gold Inc. since June 2022, Mathieu previously worked as a Junior Geologist at APEX Geoscience Ltd. from August 2020 to June 2022, and completed a geology co-op position with Suncor in 2019, focusing on the Lewis Gas Zone Evaluation Project. Engaging in various educational opportunities, Mathieu participated in the CSPG-Student Industry Field Trip in 2019, where industry concepts such as well-log interpretation and reservoir characterization were explored, and the CSEG Geophysics Industry Field Trip in 2018, which included workshops on seismic processing and big data analytics. Mathieu holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Mount Royal University, earned in 2020.
