Mike Stewart

Mike Stewart serves as the Student Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church since June 2023, following a diverse career in education. Previously, Mike held significant leadership roles such as Principal at The Museum School of Avondale Estates from June 2019 to June 2023 and Founding Principal & Superintendent at Liberty Tech Charter School from July 2016 to June 2019. Mike's experience also includes positions as Assistant Principal at The Museum School of Avondale Estates, Lower School Dean, and Founding Math Teacher at KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools, and a Corps Member with Teach For America. Before entering education, Mike worked as an Assistant Store Manager and Operations Manager at Sears Holdings Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice College & Seminary, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from UGA, a Teaching Certification in Business Teacher Education from Valdosta State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Georgia.
