New Hope Church
Carl Cherry serves as the Lead Student Pastor at New Hope Church since May 2015, overseeing a Student Ministry Team across four campuses and working closely with high school students to strengthen their faith through small groups, events, and weekend services. Additionally, Carl has been an Office Assistant at Baylor University since August 2013 and previously held roles as a Life Group Leader at Antioch Community Church and a Summer Research Intern at Cherry Companies. Carl completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management at Baylor University from 2012 to 2015.

We believe that it is the responsibility of all Christians to accurately interpret the Bible through an understanding of the historical setting, context, and language used by the original authors and to make every effort to properly determine what messages or lessons the authors were trying to convey and to determine which truths are normative and applicable in our lives today.
