Jeff Butler

Jeff Butler has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Operations Manager and Second Site Executive at New Hope Group since July 2008. Previous roles at New Hope Group include Exploration SSE, Operations Manager for the Lenton Joint Venture at Burton Mine, and Mining Operations Manager for West Moreton Operations, with a focus on the rehabilitation of disused mine sites in the Ipswich/Rosewood region. Prior to this, Jeff Butler worked at Anglo Coal as Production Supervisor and Open Cut Examiner, where responsibilities included the setup and implementation of a fleet management system. Jeff Butler began their career at Rio Tinto Coal, holding positions such as Mining Supervisor and Mine Planning and Scheduler. Jeff Butler completed high school education at Ipswich Grammar School from 1979 to 1983.
