Connie Loyd

Connie Loyd has extensive work experience in fundraising and development. Connie is currently serving as the Vice President of Fund Development and Communications at New Hope Housing, Inc. Starting in 2021, they are responsible for leading the organization's fundraising and communication efforts.

Prior to their current role, Loyd worked at the University of Houston for over 20 years. From 2018 to 2021, they held the position of Senior Director of Advancement at the University of Houston College of Medicine, overseeing all fundraising activities. Connie was also a Senior Director of Development from 2018 to 2021 and a Director of Development from 2001 to 2021 for the University's professional social work program, where they played a key role in securing philanthropic support.

Loyd's experience also includes working at New Mexico State University, specifically in the College of Health & Social Services, from 2005 to 2011.
