Sochima O. has over five years of work experience, beginning with a role as a Project Assistant at MTN South Africa in 2015. In 2017, they worked as an IT Support Technician and Graphic Designer at Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA). In 2018, they were an Academic Tutor at the Model Primary School Biogbolo/Yenizue-gene. In 2019, they worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria. In 2020, they worked as a User Experience Designer at HNG Internship, a DevOps/System Engineer Trainee at Bincom Dev Center, and a Media Content Developer at The Diamond Lab. Finally, in 2021, they worked as a Content Moderator at Telegram Messenger and is currently a Program Facilitator at New Horizons.

Sochima O. has a diverse educational background. Sochima began their studies at the Gymnasium, where they focused on User Experience Design. Sochima then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, Nigeria.
