Patrick Goodyear is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in telecommunications. Currently serving as a Senior II Electrical Engineer at New Horizons Telecom, Inc. since July 2020, Patrick previously held key engineering roles at GCI Liberty, GCI Communication Corp, and GCI General Communication, Inc., where significant projects included the $41.7M GCI TERRA Northwest Ring Closure and the deployment of TERRA services to six villages in the Nome area. Patrick's expertise encompasses high-capacity satellite links, network engineering, and management of large teams and budgets, having directed engineering activities for various satellite network projects. Patrick holds a Master of Business Science in Telecommunications Management from Alaska Pacific University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
