Glenn Townsend BFS ACII DLDC has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Glenn Townsend started their career at Capita Life & Pensions as a Senior New Business Administrator in December 1999, and later became a Claims Assessor from December 2005 to December 2007. Subsequently, they joined New Ireland Assurance and worked as a Claims Specialist from December 2007 to April 2020. Glenn Townsend then served as the Claims Technical & Control Manager from April 2020 to November 2020. After that, they became the Operations Manager - Income Protection Claims from November 2020 to July 2022. Currently, Glenn holds the position of Head of Risk Claims at New Ireland Assurance, starting in July 2022.

Glenn Townsend obtained a Bachelor of Financial Services (BFS 1st Class Hons) degree from University College Dublin in 2013.
