Habitat Outreach Coordinator at New Jersey Audubon

Kristin Theresa Hock is an experienced environmental educator and founder of Fostering Farmers, established in December 2022, which aims to support young adults aging out of the foster care system by providing a stable home and valuable life skills. Currently serving as Habitat Outreach Coordinator for New Jersey Audubon since October 2018, Kristin promotes the Garden for Wildlife program to enhance urban biodiversity. Previous roles include Farm Manager at Caramore Farm CSA and Farm Apprentice at Fernbrook Farm CSA, alongside positions as a Naturalist for Monmouth County Park System and Web of Life Field School. Kristin holds a Master of Science in Environmental Education from Lesley University, a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Conservation and Animal Science from the University of Delaware, and is a Certified Holistic Health Coach. In 2023, Kristin attained certification from the National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation in Climate Change.
