Gene Tom

Gene Tom has over 20 years of work experience in the field of information technology. Gene started their career as a Technical Writer at Fountain Technologies in 1991 and later worked as a Technical Writer at Synergy Microwave. In 1994, they joined Information Builders as a Systems Support Specialist, then moved on to work as a Network Administrator and Webmaster at Katz Media Group and Petry Media. In 1996, they joined Planned Parenthood Federation of America as a Senior Network and Web Engineer. Gene then worked as an IT Engineer at Advanced Health Media before joining Ports America as an IT Manager. In 2007, they worked as an IT Director at Battery Park City Authority and later joined New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) as the Director of Information Technology.

Gene Tom has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Science Engineering from Rutgers University.
