Joanne Degnan

Joanne Degnan is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in writing, editing, and media management. Currently serving as Communications Manager at the New Jersey Business & Industry Association since January 2016, Joanne has previously worked as a freelance editor, writer, and photographer, and held the position of Editor in Chief at The Robbinsville Sun. Joanne's experience also includes roles as Managing Editor at The Messenger-Press, Copy Editor at Packet Media Group, and Administrator at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. Additionally, Joanne served as Deputy Communications Director for the NJ Senate Majority and as Statehouse Bureau Chief and Reporter for United Press International. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in English/Journalism from The College of New Jersey.
