Sai Raj

Sai Raj has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas, where they worked on developing a mobile system for remote/wireless data recording and conditioning in healthcare textiles. Sai then served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the same university.

After that, they joined Bavelle Technologies as a Network & Systems Engineer, where they gained extensive experience in network security, server management, Exchange to Office 365 migrations, WLAN networks, and virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V. Sai also played a key role in creating disaster recovery procedures and backup infrastructures for various business clients.

Currently, Sai Raj is positioned as Senior Director of Information Technology & Security at the New Jersey Innovation Institute. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director of Information Technology. In their current and previous roles, they have been involved in defining cloud network architecture, making recommendations to improve network and systems security, and participating in the launch of "Next-Gen" solutions.

Throughout their work experience, Sai Raj has demonstrated their expertise in information technology, security, infrastructure, and network systems engineering.

Sai Raj completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Saveetha University from 2008 to 2012. Sai then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Arkansas from 2011 to 2012. Sai continued their education at the University of Arkansas and obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Sai Raj has acquired several certifications from Sophos. In 2017, they became a Sophos Fundamentals - Certified Engineer, a Sophos Central - Certified Engineer, and a Sophos XG Firewall - Certified Engineer. In 2019, Sai obtained certifications as a Sophos Certified Architect - Central Endpoint and Server Protection and a Sophos Certified Architect - XG Firewall. Sai also received the Sophos Cloud Security Provider certification in 2017.
