Blake Haggerty has extensive experience in the field of digital learning and technology support. Blake began their career in 2000 as an Adjunct Instructor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they worked closely with faculty to design and develop online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses. In 2014, they became the Director of the Technology Support Center and later served as the Executive Director of Digital Learning and Technology Support until July 2021. Recently, they took on the role of Associate CIO, focusing on digital learning and campus support. In addition to their work at NJIT, Haggerty has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University - Newark since 2016.
Blake Haggerty has a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they graduated from Concordia College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English, Philosophy, and Political Science. In addition to their degrees, Blake has obtained certifications such as the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT in 2016 and is a graduate of the EDUCAUSE Management Program in 2014.
