Jill Lagerstrom

Jill Lagerstrom is an experienced librarian with a diverse background in reference and instructional design. Currently serving as a Reference and Instruction Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology since June 2022, Jill has collaborated with faculty to enhance information literacy classes. Previous roles include Adjunct Librarian at New York University, Visiting STEM Librarian at Barnard College, and Chief Librarian at the Space Telescope Science Institute, where Jill led various projects, managed library operations, and developed outreach initiatives. Jill's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Languages and Literature from the University of Chicago, a Master of Library Science from Rutgers University, and a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Seton Hall University.
