Edith Beckett

Edith Beckett has an extensive background in librarianship and education, currently serving as a Librarian at the New Jersey State Library since June 1987. Beckett obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University, where involvement as a Graduate Student continued from September 2002 to May 2014. Additional experience includes roles as a Trainer for Project Compass from February to August 2011, and for Train the Trainer from 1998 to 2010. Beckett also contributed to the Center for International Scholarship in School Libraries as a Doctoral Student from 2004 to 2010.
