Don Meyer, CAE has extensive experience in marketing, communications, and public relations. Don began their career in 2002 as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Craft & Hobby Association, where they successfully implemented a public relations program that generated nearly one billion annual impressions. During their time there, Don also oversaw media and new member outreach, industry branding and research programs, and marketing for a large trade exposition.
In 2005, Don joined the New Jersey Society of CPAs as the Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, they are responsible for various areas including marketing, promotional and communications programs, digital assets, content and news distribution, media and public relations, recruitment, executive communications, and internal communications. Don also manages graphic design, market research, and advocacy and legislative communications.
Throughout their career, Don has consistently demonstrated their expertise in strategic marketing and communication strategies, and has played a pivotal role in brand development and organizational growth.
Don Meyer, CAE, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University between 1986 and 1990. Don further obtained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in January 2020.
