Ruth Smith

Ruth (Ravitz) Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic positioning, public policy, and communications. As the President of RR Smith Strategic Solutions, LLC since February 2019, Ruth helps organizations enhance their brand recognition and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, Ruth serves as a Strategic Partner at New Lantern Partners and is the Founder and President of Honor Flight of the Cape Fear Area, a volunteer-run hub. Ruth has held leadership roles in various organizations, including New Hanover County as Chief Communications Officer and GE as SVP & GM of Global Government Affairs & Policy. Ruth holds an MBA from Marymount University and a BA in Law & Society from Hood College, along with a TESOL certification.
