Stephen Woodrow

Stephen Woodrow is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and team building. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at New Lantern since 2025, Stephen is focused on developing Cursor for radiologists and has recently raised Series A funding. Prior to this role, Stephen led Truework’s engineering and data science teams through significant funding rounds and an acquisition by Checkr, while effectively managing team growth and morale. Stephen’s notable achievements at Lyft include establishing the security engineering program and expanding the team, and at Stripe, work involved major engineering projects and supporting organizational growth. Stephen also contributed to broadband measurement projects at the Georgia Institute of Technology and engaged in research at MIT CSAIL, laying a strong foundation with advanced degrees in Computer Science and Technology and Policy from MIT and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
