Kavish Burney

Kavish Burney is an experienced education leader currently serving as Executive Director of Strategy and Operations for the National Aspiring Principals Fellowship at New Leaders since October 2020. Previously at New Leaders from 2008 to 2019, Kavish held several roles including Director of Strategy and Operations, Director of Program Learning, Director of the Emerging Leaders Program, Interim Executive Director of the Emerging Leaders Program, Senior Manager in the Office of the CEO, and Program Manager for the National Cities Team. Kavish also worked as a Public Affairs Associate at the NYC Department of Education from 2006 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master's degree from Indiana University Indianapolis.
