Mark Sloan, MD, FACEP has extensive experience in the field of emergency medicine. Mark is currently serving as the System Medical Director at Lexington Clinic. Prior to this, they held the position of Medical Director at Anderson County EMS. Mark has also worked as the Medical Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital under TeamHealth. Additionally, they served as the Medical Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Frankfort Regional Medical Center under Envision Healthcare. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Medical Director at St. Joseph London under MESA Medical Group. Dr. Sloan also has experience as the Chief Resident at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
Mark Sloan, MD, FACEP completed their education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where they pursued a three-year Emergency Medicine Residency Program from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Mark also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General, which they obtained from the University of Kentucky from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degrees, Mark Sloan has obtained certifications in Emergency Medicine from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 2013 and 2023.
