Joy Esparsen

Joy Esparsen is currently serving as the Executive Director at the New Mexico Association of Counties since October 2022. Prior to this role, Joy held the position of Deputy Executive Director at New Mexico Counties for nearly two decades. Before transitioning to the public sector, Joy worked as the Health & Safety Director at the American Red Cross and as a Photo Editor/Webmaster at New Mexico Magazine. Joy holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Management and Policy from UNM Anderson School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Public Administration from the University of Phoenix.
