Dana Flannery

Dana Flannery is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Medicaid Director at the New Mexico Human Services Department since March 2024. Prior to this role, Dana owned DSF Consulting - Health Care from February 2023 to March 2024 and was a Senior Policy Advisor and Assistant Director at the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) from June 2017 to February 2023. Dana's extensive background includes significant advocacy work as Office Chief for Behavioral Health Advocacy at the Office of Human Rights, supervising advocates statewide, and earlier roles focusing on behavioral support and case management for individuals with serious mental illness and developmental disabilities. Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University, earned between 1999 and 2003.
