Elisa Walker Moran

Elisa Walker Moran has extensive experience in economic analysis and financial management within state government. Currently serving as Deputy Finance Director at the New Mexico Human Services Department since December 2017, Elisa Walker Moran has held various roles including Acting Deputy Finance Director, Bureau Chief, and Senior Economist. Prior roles include Chief Economist at the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department and Chief Economist for the New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee. Elisa Walker Moran began a career at the Human Services Department of the State of New Mexico and earlier worked as an Economist at the New Mexico Department of Labor. Academically, Elisa Walker Moran holds a Master's degree in Economics from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Marymount University.
