Kathy Slater-Huff

Kathy Slater-Huff, PMP, has over two decades of diverse experience in project management and operational leadership, primarily within the public sector. Currently serving as Deputy Cabinet Secretary at the New Mexico Human Services Department since January 2017, Kathy has held multiple roles including Acting Deputy Secretary and Communication and Education Bureau Chief. Previous experience includes managing the Massachusetts Housing Portal roll-out as an Independent Contractor and providing consultancy services related to Medicaid programs. Early career roles include significant positions in media production management, demonstrating a strong foundation in logistics and operational coordination. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater with a Music Minor from the College of Santa Fe.
