Alexa Major Wilcox serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for Alexa's Mighty Hands, which supports rural women farmers through agricultural education via smartphones. Wilcox is also the Head Women’s Rodeo Coach and adjunct Professor of Business at New Mexico Junior College, focusing on communication studies. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director for the Field of Hope, leading efforts in agricultural education in Uganda, and various roles at Oklahoma State University, including Program Manager and Graduate Assistant. Educationally, Wilcox holds a Master’s Degree in International Agriculture from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Communication/Journalism from Texas Tech University. Additional experience includes freelance writing, marketing, and sponsorship internships in the rodeo and agricultural sectors.
