Roberta Pallais de Bruijn

Roberta Pallais De Bruijn has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of analytics and reporting. Roberta is currently serving as the Director of Innovation and Analytics at New Mexico Mutual since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ProAssurance as the Director of Reporting & Analytics from May 2021 to October 2021. From October 2019 to May 2021, they were the Reporting & Analytics Director at NORCAL Group.

Roberta'searlier experience includes working at New Mexico Mutual as an Analytics Technical Manager from September 2017 to October 2019, where they played a key role in transforming the analytics systems and implementing strategic initiatives. Before that, they served as a Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Architect at New Mexico Mutual from September 2007 to October 2019. In this role, they led the creation of enterprise-wide data warehouse and analytics solutions and ensured high data quality during the migration to new insurance systems.

Additionally, Roberta has a strong entrepreneurial background. Roberta founded an analytics consulting group, GBM Alliance / Microdata Group, in 1996, which helped large corporations and multinational companies achieve their strategies through analytics solutions. This group was later acquired by IBM's distributor in the Central America region (GBM). Roberta was involved in designing and implementing data warehouse and analytics solutions for the largest retailer in Central America, now acquired by Walmart.

Roberta Pallais De Bruijn earned their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Data Bases and Multimedia from Stony Brook University, completing their studies from 1992 to 1994. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained the Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) certification from The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI) in December 2018. This certification includes specializations in Leadership and Management, Data Analysis and Design, and Data Integration. Furthermore, Roberta obtained certifications in Dimensional Modeling in Depth and Data Warehouse/BI Lifecycle from Kimball University in November 2015.
