Melissa D. Spangler, CPA, CGFM, CFE has extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Melissa D. is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer/Finance Director at the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General. Prior to their current role, they were the Chief Financial Officer at the Second Judicial District Attorney's Office from 2017 to 2022. In 2016, they worked as the Financial Control Division Director at the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General. Melissa D. also held the position of Audit Manager at REDW from 2015 to 2016. Before that, they were the Financial Audit Director at the New Mexico Office of the State Auditor from 2012 to 2015.
