Cara Michaliszyn

Cara Michaliszyn is a board member at the New Mexico Technology Council. Cara previously served as a facilitator for the Emerging Minority Business Leaders Institute at West Liberty University. In this role, they helped students build a business launch plan from a technology registered with the USPTO. The team they worked with, NeedGuard, took first place in the competition out of 10 teams.

Michaliszyn has also worked with UNM Rainforest Innovations, where they helped develop new products and technologies. Cara is passionate about helping businesses grow and thrive in New Mexico.

Cara Michaliszyn has an MBA in marketing from the UNM Anderson School of Management and a Bachelors in psychology and sociology from The University of New Mexico.
