David Wiese-Carl is an experienced communications and media professional currently serving as Vice President of Media & Impact at New Mexico United since August 2020, where responsibilities include expanding the department to three teams focused on Communications, Social Media, and Fan Experience. Prior to this role, David was the Chief Community Engagement Officer for Santa Fe Public Schools, overseeing media relations and communication strategies. Other notable positions include Director of Communications at the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General, where management of media relations and promotions took place, and various reporting and anchoring roles at WDTV-TV, WTAP-TV, and KOAT-TV. David co-founded The Curse NM and served as Director at WWVU-FM, specializing in feedback and sports broadcasting.
