Carrie Thomas is a qualified mental health associate with extensive experience in mental health support and advocacy. Currently employed at New Narrative since September 2011, Carrie specializes in crisis intervention, psychosocial skills building, and medication administration. Previous roles include serving as a crisis associate at Marion County Health and Human Services, where support was provided to individuals in crisis, and founding NAMI on Campus at Portland State University to promote mental health awareness. Carrie has also worked as a job coach, enhancing the employment skills of individuals with disabilities, and has a background in inventory control and logistics from earlier roles. Carrie holds a master's degree in Postsecondary Adult and Continuing Education and a bachelor's degree in Social Science from Portland State University, along with other qualifications in general studies and medical assistance.
