Lindsay Downen has a diverse work experience in the mental healthcare field. Lindsay started their career as a Freshman Workshop Leader at the University of Portland in 2003. Lindsay then worked as an Office Manager at 5th Avenue Counseling and Consulting from 2005 to 2007. In 2006, they became a Dual Diagnosis Counselor at OHSU until 2007. From 2008 to 2010, Lindsay served as a Mental Health Therapist at Greater Lakes Mental Healthcare. Lindsay then joined Luke Dorf Inc. as a Program Manager in 2010 and continued in this role until 2014. Since 2014, Lindsay has been associated with New Narrative, initially as a Clinical Director and later as a Compliance Officer. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Quality and Impact at New Narrative.

Lindsay Downen holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Portland between 2001 and 2005.
