Ganesh Rao

Ganesh Rao has extensive experience in the finance and microfinance sectors, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at New Opportunity Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. since April 2015. Prior to this, Ganesh co-founded Suryoday Microfinance Pvt Ltd from March 2009 to December 2013, focusing on providing micro loans to underprivileged women for business development. Ganesh also held positions such as Senior Vice President of Secured Assets at Development Credit Bank from 2006 to 2009, and AVP in both Regional Manager roles for GE Capital and GE Commercial Finance from 2003 to 2006. Earlier career experience includes serving as Relationship Manager for Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company from 2000 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a Management Executive Program from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a degree in Commerce, Audit, and Finance from St. Aloysius College.
