Jenna Winston

Jenna Winston has a diverse work experience in the performing arts and education industry. In 2008, they started working as a Freelance Musician and Private Instructor, specializing as a Singer and Vocal Coach. Jenna then joined New Orleans College Prep as a Choir Director in 2014. Concurrently, from 2016 to 2022, Jenna held various roles at Tulane University, including Professor and Graduate Research Assistant. Jenna was also involved with the New Orleans Youth Theatre as the Artistic Director since 2022. Additionally, Jenna worked as an Actor for Summer Lyric Theatre from 2012 to 2022. Jenna further contributed their skills as a Theatre Teacher at City Park Movement & Art from 2017 to 2021. Lastly, Jenna briefly worked as a Server at Wayfare in 2013 and Kitchen Kabaret in 2010-2011.

Jenna Winston's education history begins in 2010 when they enrolled at Tulane University. From 2010 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Music - Performance. In 2012, they briefly studied Classical Voice at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. Moving forward, Jenna continued their education at Tulane University, obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Neuroscience from 2015 to 2016. Jenna then pursued their passion further by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from 2016 to 2021 at the same institution.
