Tim Hemphill

Tim Hemphill serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center since July 2023, bringing extensive experience in the convention and visitors bureau sector. Prior to this role, Tim held the position of Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Events at the New Orleans Convention Center from January 2008 to July 2023. Tim previously led the Kissimmee Convention and Visitors Bureau as Executive Director from 1999 to 2007 and served as President/CEO of the Baton Rouge Area Convention & Visitors Bureau from August 1990 to June 1998. Early in Tim's career, leadership positions included Executive Director roles at the Bakersfield Convention & Visitors Bureau and Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau, as well as a sales position at the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau. Tim Hemphill is an alumnus of Texas A&M University, graduating between 1975 and 1980.
